What Would You Do?

Okay bloggers I need help with my screened in porch--what would you do with this space, keep in mind that I need to do this on a budget, I have about $100 for this project. The things that I have for the porch are: a white rocking chair, a yellow serving cart from the 60's, 3 yards of yellow floral fabric and 2 yards of a sage green gingham fabric and a sewing machine. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I would spend the $100 on a pretty outdoor rug (or any durable rug since it is a covered porch) and then use your rocking chair (perhaps make a cushion for it with your fabric?) and use your service cart to hold plants.

It will be adorable!

Can't wait to see what you end up doing!

Happy night,
Melissa

Hate me--I'd paint the brick a whitish color! And use the money and look for a table and more chairs at yard sales and do a ceiling fan and lots of plants! oh and candles, lots of candles!

The space is so narrow, it would be hard to put much in the way of a table there. How about making a very narrow shelf or table for the large space of brick wall?

Here's a photo of mine at the old patio.

and decorated for Christmas.

You can even cover it in fabric for color, especially if you use scrap wood.

Also benches are good for narrow seating, or to place next to your rocking chair as a table/seating option.

If it were me, I would also lose the ficus tree because it detracts from the long view.
