I finished the window treatment for the playroom (once was my dining room, the boys have too many toys, LOL) these were harder than the kitchen for the obvious reason, there was more fabric to work with. Nevertheless, I was able to finish this project in about 8 hours that includes lining the fabric, making the window seat cushion, making the throw pillows and hanging them. Total cost was:
Drapery Fabric--$32.64
Checked Fabric--$8.48
Drapery Lining--$15.24
Buttons for seat cushion--$1.00
Hooks--$8.97
Total Cost--$66.33

Nice job! I liked the other stuff you made as well. I am really enjoying using our dining room as a office/playroom/project room.
Wow, good for you!
Why do you call it a "mistreatment"? Just curious... :)
Another fabulous job! You're really talented!
Michelle, thanks for coming to visit my blog today! It is so fun to "meet" all these new people! Your site is really fun, I love the job you did on your window. I am trying to convince my hubby to build a window seat for me so that I can "mistreat" it! :) Maybe your pictures will inspire him?
