I need help!
My front door looks awful!
Before I can hang this beauty, the door needs a face lift.
My problem is I don't know where to start, the door is made of metal with a faux wood finish. I want to paint to paint it black, what type of paint should I use, do I need to sand it, do I paint the white trim first or the door first?
Any suggestions?

I hope whatever you do it turns out-One thing I do know is that a glossy black looks sooo good-
but I don't know what kind...
I used some hardcore enamel black paint from Lowes. 2 coats. But I should have primed first...it might have looked even better if I did.
And I love Caromal Colours...peppercorn would look good and it will stick to anything unprimed.
