Cookbooks

I read cookbooks like most people read romance novels (I read those too) I love to look at the tantalizing photographs of well prepared meals and dream of making them for my family. I recently purchased The Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook and I haven't been able to put it down, the recipes are amazing, the photos make you wish you lived on a cattle farm, this book gives me a warm fuzzy feeling of being in my mother's kitchen. This morning I made her biscuits, they were fabulous, tomorrow night I'm trying the comfort meatball recipe and one day this week I'm going to make marmalade muffins, so much for trying to lose weight, LOL!! It goes without saying, but I'll tell you anyway, today's item in the box is your very own copy of The Pioneer Woman Cooks, if you already own this book give it to a friend or young married woman, I'm sure that they will love it.

Have a great evening!!!

Love her recipes. I usually get her recipes off her web site. Haven't been able to get her book yet. Maybe payday.

I have also heard a lot about this pioneer lady. Hmmm! Wonder what that's about. Maybe a sign that I should start cooking more for my dear hubby. :)
